What are the best self care practices when having an endo flare up?

Everybody is very individual and what works for one won't work for another. It's all about finding what you like and what you enjoy.

Some really good ones. Eat a healthy diet. And I know that's hard when you're in a flare up. I am the world's worst for eating a bag of crisps instead of a meal. But I do try to batch cook healthy meals, so when I am feeling good, I will cook some really good meals and freeze some portions so that they're ready to just if I'm having a flare or if I'm having a really low energy day, they're ready in the freezer.

I can just take them out in the morning, defrost them. And we've got a nice, healthy meal to eat in the afternoon. Try and do some really gentle stretches. If you're in a flare up and try and get good night's sleep, it's really hard, but that's one of the best things to do because it's your body's healing time.

Epsom salt bath, BeYou pillow spray and nice guided meditation normally help me drift off, but most of all be kind to yourself. You don't have to do any of these. You don't have to do anything that anyone tells you that you should be doing. If they make you feel good, then that's your brilliant self care practice.
