I think I might have endo but i'm not sure, what should I do?

If you think you might have Endo, the best thing you can do is start a symptom diary, book an appointment with your GP and download some form of, you can find one on our website Endo South Coast website. We have a pack that you can download and it has symptom diary in there.

It has all of the regular symptoms of Endo and make sure everything is down in black and white. Go to a GP and say, Look, I think I might have Endo. I have all of these symptoms that correlate with endometriosis. I need a referral to the Gynaecologist.

People with chronic illnesses really need to be their own advocate. You need to be clear in what you want and what you think you need going forward, not in a shouty way or hysterical way or anything like that. Just be very clear and very focused on what you want and what you think the outcome should be. Now, if they offer you something different, go away. Try that thing that they offer you, but keep the diary still and go back to your GP and say, look, this hasn't worked. So what are our next steps?
