How would I know when my eating is out of control or detrimental to me?

If you're waking up in the morning and you're really preoccupied with food, maybe you are thinking about what you can and you cannot eat, and maybe if that's starting to get in the way of your normal daily activities like study or seeing friends, those can be warning signs that you're eating patterns are kind of starting to move into a slightly disordered zone.

Also, if you're going long periods without eating, if you find that you're binge eating so eating a large amount of food, losing control, eating in secret, feeling a lot of shame for eating.

Again, that could be a real warning sign that maybe your eating is going into an unhelpful place. So I hope that gives you some tips.
