Can I expect to get pelvic floor problems with age?

Generally speaking, I would say from clinical experience, yes, it doesn't just mean people who have children end up pelvic health problems.

Going through menopause, which we all do as we age, does have a major contribution to pelvic floor dysfunction.

So yes, we can expect to, but doesn't mean you will.

And having good awareness about your pelvic floor and pelvic health generally, before then, will put you in optimal position so that when you do age, you're less likely to or if you recognise that you have actually got symptoms. It isn't just part of aging and that there is help for you.
