Will cutting out animal products from my diet affect my hormones drastically?

I'm going to stick purely to the science and leave the ethical moral arguments out of this one. I often advise a plant based diet, which is not necessarily a meat free diet. It's basically a diet that is mostly plants with a small amount of high quality organic grass fed meat and a couple of portions of oily fish a week as well, if you can.
So I think that's the easiest way to ensure you're covering all of your nutrient bases, and it's not to say you can't have a healthy meat free diet, but you will need to plan it more carefully. As for the question of whether cutting animal products will affect your hormones drastically completely depends on how many animal products you were eating in the first place. A small amount can be beneficial because protein and vitamins and minerals can actually be really helpful for hormones.
